At Showcase Cinema de Lux Legacy Place, Danielle Henry ensures the best moviegoing experience to all visitors. “Movie theaters have always been my favorite place to be," Danielle says. "It has been so rewarding being part of a place that brings myself and others so much joy." Before joining Showcase, Danielle worked in the radio industry, crediting an easy transition to the Showcase management team. "My collegues were more than happy to train me and get me up to speed. Everyone was great about answering questions and letting me shadow them on various tasks until I felt comfortable doing them on my own. On National Employee Appreciation Day, we're taking a peek behind the scenes with Michael Van Scoy, Managing Director at Showcase Cinema de Lux Warwick! Mike has been with the company for 28 years and has managed multiple theaters during this time. We sat down with him to talk about his experience, and he recalled one of his favorite moments with a customer "A snowstorm came through and I noticed someone struggling to clean off their car in the parking lot. I stopped what I was doing and went outside to assist her. She thanked me and told me she was looking forward to coming back to our cinema, come rain or shine." The best part of the job for Mike? "Developing others," he says. "Coaching and developing staff into becoming the best in their roles and watching them grow into higher positions is extremely rewarding and important to me." We couldn't be more grateful for Mike's continued efforts to build up our teams and take the best care of our customers.
